It gives me immense pleasure in welcoming you all to Santosh Deemed to be University.  Santosh Medical college and hospital has established itself as a professional institution in imparting not only quality education under a congenial atmosphere, but also to sensitize our students towards globally relevant  issues. It has renowned faculty from reputed Medical colleges throughout India. The institutions offer a platform for innovative research at the student level itself. It also has a supporting atmosphere for extracurricular activities especially outdoor sports & Yoga. Here, we at the University believe in developing & nurturing healthy professionals who can contribute towards sustainable Development Goals of India and at the same time be globally recognized.

Profile:

Dr Alka Agrawal is a graduate 0f Maulana Azad Medical College ,Delhi. She did her post-graduation in Pediatrics in 1994 also from MAMC, Delhi . She has done her diploma in developmental neurology from CDC, Thiruvananthapuram.

Dr Alka joined Santosh medical college and hospital in 1999 in the department of pediatrics as Asstt professor and went on become professor in 2007. She has headed the department of pediatrics from 2010 till 2019 before assuming the responsibility of Medical Superintendent. She was instrumental in starting the first child guidance clinic in Ghaziabad at Santosh hospital.

Dr. Alka has many prestigious awards to her credit, including FIAP for her distinctive contribution to children of this country. She also received the best Pediatrician award in UP, in 2012 for community service and several such awards at the state level She is the national coordinator of Neonatal resuscitation program in India, State academic coordinator of childhood disability group and national faculty of several community programs in India.

She is an academician par excellence , great teacher and renowned clinician of international repute with 30 research papers in National and international journals.
