World Tuberculosis Day-Department Respiratory Medicine

On 24March 2023 Department Respiratory Medicine Celebrated WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY and the theme was YES! We can End TB! The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Manish Sharma HOD Respiratory Medicine, Dr. Anil HOD ICU and Critical Care, Dr. Sarkar ICU and Critical Care team, Dr. Mahendran C.S. Assistant Professor Respiratory Medicine, Dr. Ankit Pandey Assistant Professor Respiratory Medicine. Dr. Mukul Saini Senior Resident Respiratory Medicine.All Post graduate students from Department of Respiratory Medicine Dr. Eshutosh, Dr. Pooja, Dr. Prekshy, Dr. Vidushi, Dr. Snehashish, Dr. Swati, Dr. Anmol, Dr. Pritam and Dr. Ramanpreet and interns from BPT and BOT department. 60 odd members of public, patients and attenders from young to elderly in the Santosh Medical college hospital lobby actively interacted with the speakers.The programme was introduced by Dr. Mahendran C.S. about World Tuberculosis Day and its theme for the year 2023

Dr. Ankit Pandey and Dr. Snehashish Kundu enlightened and educated the public regarding the Newer Advances in Diagnosis and Treatment of Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Tuberculosis Preventive Therapy respectively and showed commitment in their efforts to control and end Tuberculosis. The programme was concluded by Dr. Manish Sharma, HOD Respiratory Medicine, who educated, informed and made the public aware about Tuberculosis and how to control and end the disease.
